The Reserve Bank said on Monday that the facility of Digital Payments Real Time Gross Settlement (RTGS) will be closed for 14 hours on Sunday 18 April. RBI has said in a statement that this is being done for technical improvements in RTGS.
For this, this facility will be closed from midnight of Saturday, 17 April to 2 pm on Sunday. However, during this period, the facility of National Electronic Funds Transfer (NEFT) will continue. RBI has asked banks to inform their customers so that they can plan to keep the payment smooth.
