Jagmohan Sundriyal to be CM Tirath Rawat’s OSD

Uttarakhand Chief Minister Tirath Singh Rawat has appointed Jagmohan Sundriyal, presently working as Joint Secretary in the Rajya Sabha secretariat, as his OSD (officer in special duty).
Chief Minister Tirath Singh Rawat in a letter written to Add Chief Secretary Radha Raturi dated 4th April stating that Jagmohan Sundriyal at present working as Joint Secretary in Rajya Sabha Secretariat may be appointed as my personal establishment with capacity of officer in Special duty (OSD) in the pay level 15. Necessary action with respect to his appointment may be taken at the earliest. His Present office be approached to relieve him to join here in chief minister secretariat. It is worth mentioning that Sundriyal has done MA from Hemwati Nandan Bahuguna Garhwal University Hemwati Nandan Bahuguna Garhwal University in English Literature in 1982-84. He has done One year PG Diploma in Industrial Relations and Personnel Management from Bhartiya Vidya Bhawan , New Delhi in 1988-89. 15 Month PG Program in Public Policy and Management (2010-12) from MDI, Gurgaon. Six week’s Module on Public Policy in French Government from Sciences Po University Paris during May- June 2011. He is a experienced hand in the job and has served as OSD to Speaker Manohar Joshi from Shiv Sena in Lok Sabha from May 2002 to Jun 2004 and looked after Appointments/Engagements, Parliamentary and constituency works, tour programmes of the Speaker in the capacity to his Officer on Special Duty. Handled specific assignments on Commonwealth Parliaments Association, Inter-Parliament Union, and International Parliament Conference apart from Presiding Officers Conferences. He was also OSD to Manohar Joshi when he was Minister of Industry from 1999 – May 2002.
