Prakasam, 8th Jan. The statue of former Chief Minister YS Rajasekhara Reddy in Kopperapalem, Ballikurava Mandal, Prakasam district, was vandalised by unidentified miscreants. They have not only damaged but also set fire to the statue. Police were dispatched to the village after learning of the incident.
According to some villagers, TDP activists vandalised the statue in order to defame the ruling YSR Congress party.
