Hyderabad: CPI(M)’s Three-day Central Committee Meeting Begins

Hyderabad, 8th Jan. The CPI(M)’s three-day Central Committee meeting, which began on Friday in Hyderabad, is focused on the upcoming elections in various states as well as the draught political report that will be presented at the party’s All India Conference in April.

According to a CPI(M) release, the meeting was attended by Kerala Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan, CPI(M) General Secretary Sitaram Yechury, former Tripura Chief Minister Manik Sarkar, politburo member Prakash Karat, and other leaders.

It quoted Yechury as saying that the Central Committee would discuss the strategy to be used in the upcoming state assembly elections.

In April, the party’s All India Congress will be held in Kannur, Kerala.The Central Committee will meet in Hyderabad to discuss a number of issues.
